Australian data centre operator AirTrunk announced a US$3 billion investment to build two new hyperscale data centres in Johor Bahru.
The expansion will:
- Add more than 280 megawatts of capacity
- Increase AirTrunk’s total Malaysian investment to US$6.8 billion
- Support growing AI and cloud computing demand
- Strengthen Johor’s position as a regional digital hub
